SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Warehouse Associate for a client in Cobden, IL. The Warehouse Associate position plays a key role in order fulfillment, packaging, and maintaining warehouse operations. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($16-16.50/hr.) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available Shifts:1st shift Monday-Saturday, 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM Responsibilities of the Warehouse Associate:
Manually pick, pack, and stage orders onto pallets
Repackage bulk items into proper containers and build secure pallets
Perform quality inspections to ensure product standards
Operate RF scanners and Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Safely use packing machinery and follow lockout procedures
Maintain a clean, organized workspace (sweeping, mopping, inventory management)
Train new team members as needed
Follow all safety guidelines and company policies
Required Qualifications of the Warehouse Associate:
High school diploma or GED
Commitment to a diverse and inclusive workplace
Must be at least 18 years old
Basic math, reading, and writing skills
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
Comfort working in cool environments (as low as 35°F)
Willingness to work Saturdays as needed
