Warehouse Associate—Material Handler Location: Des Plaines, IL Pay: $18.50/hour Sign-On Bonus of $100 (after working 80 hours) SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Warehouse Associates—Material Handlers for a large, well-known logistics client in Des Plaines, IL. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a fast-paced distribution environment and play a key role in shipping, receiving, inventory management, and specialized freight handling. Looking for weekend work only? We also offer a Weekend Warrior position—Saturday & Sunday, 7am-3:30pm. Perfect for those wanting steady weekend hours! Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:
Load and unload cargo from trailers.
Palletize, stretch wrap, and label cargo to prepare for outbound transport.
Stage and store freight safely while maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organization.
Verify paperwork accuracy, and report discrepancies or damages.
Assist with inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Lift 50–70 lbs consistently and stand for extended periods.
Additional duties as needed/directed by management.
Warehouse Associate Qualifications:
At least 1 year of warehouse experience is preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety/compliance.
Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
