Warehouse Clerk Location: Des Plaines, IL Pay: $18.50/hourSign-On Bonus of $100 (after working 80 hours) SURESTAFF is immediately hiring a Warehouse Clerk for a large, well-known logistics client in Des Plaines, IL. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a fast-paced distribution environment and play a key role in shipping, receiving, inventory management, and specialized freight handling. Hand out assignments and paperwork to forklift operators
Carrying out all tasks as assigned by the lead clerk
Enter shipment details in Navisphere computer systems
Scan shipment information into the Navisphere system
Monitor shared mailboxes, print out BOLs, Work Oders and any other requests from internal customer teams as needed.
Recording and maintaining inventory of export shipments in the warehouse.
Making sure that the data in Navisphere Inventory is correct as per the BOL and receiver.
Ability to learn about and identify acceptable forms of clearance for import cargo.
Keeping records of all documentation relating to the dispatch and receipt of goods.

Container inspection forms
Bills of Lading
Assisting in the compliance of all legal procedures of procuring and dispatching freight.
G.O. Tracking and notification process
Ability to multi-task and handle multiple methods of communication – eg, email, IM, direct connect radio and telephone.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Work Experience & Background Requirements:
Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven office environment
Excellent verbal & written communication skills and phone etiquette
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Exceptional customer service skills and meticulous follow up
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and using the Internet
Familiarity with Bills of Lading, Shipping Manifests, etc.
Education Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required
