The Janitor is a reliable and detail-oriented facility/cleaning employee. The Janitor will maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in our facility, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This position is a dual position that will require working on the warehouse floor. This position will be onsite at the Itasca, Illinois facility.
The Pay Rate is $16/HR. and the hours are 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday
Janitor Responsibilities:
-Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting-Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas-Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly-Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper-Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces-Maintain cleaning equipment and notify management of any repairs needed-Follow all safety and sanitation procedures-Perform deep cleaning tasks as required-During downtime, work out on the facility's warehouse floor-Assist with other duties as assigned by management
Janitor Job Knowledge & Skills:
-Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is preferred but not required-Ability to work independently and follow instructions-Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness-Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods-Dependable, responsible, and punctual-Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices is a plus
