SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for a client in Buffalo Grove, IL. The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and assisting in the day-to-day operations and managing plant employees working on multiple production lines. This position will supervise, mentor, and develop a team of production associates to ensure that production deadlines are met efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will enjoy mentoring others and have a proactive, problem-solving mentality. Demonstrated leadership abilities is a must! SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($18-$22/hr. based on experience) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts include:1st shift 4:30 am.-1:00 pm. 2nd shift 1:00 pm. to 9:30 pm. Responsibilities of the Warehouse Supervisor: • Assures that the morning checklist has been completed• Organize the different waves of shipments (grouping orders by box size, and ground/express shipping) and make crew aware current waves requirements • Manage the flow of the line to assure there are no stoppages and trailers are filled prior to pick up times • Maintain product levels and manage breaks • Monitors crew hours • Monitors trailer loads and calls carrier (FedEx) to switch out the trailers as needed Preferred Qualifications of the Warehouse Supervisor:
Previous leadership experience in manufacturing or production.
Proven track record of effective problem-solving.
Strong communication skills.
Bilingual (English and Spanish)
