SURESTAFF is immediately hiring MIG/TIG Welders for a large, well-known client in Aurora, IL. Ideal applicants should have experience in TIG welding stainless steel and aluminum, or experience with MIG welding processes and various grinding tools. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($21-$23/hr.) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts include: Monday - Thursday 7:00am-5:30pm Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Duties and Responsibilities• Applies welding knowledge and skills to fabricate products. • Completes work orders based on production goals. • Utilizes analytical skills to determine the most efficient and effective tools and methods to apply to work. • Takes precise measurements to ensure fit of product components. • Maintains equipment in good working condition and conducts regular maintenance on equipment. This may include but is not limited to switching out filler wire, maintaining wire speed and voltage accuracy, and cleaning used equipment. • Reports any issues, malfunctions, or defects related to parts, machinery, and work orders. • Reads engineering drawings. • Adheres to quality standards as set forth by operations. • Performs quality analysis of completed work and escalates concerns to supervisor. Requirements and Qualifications• High school diploma or equivalent certificate preferred • Ability to read and comprehend written and verbal instructions and follow established procedures • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs. • Welding education (certificate or course) • Professional welding experience (MIG) • Forklift driving experience • MRP experience About Surestaff
