SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Wet Blending Operators for a well known client in Racine,WI. The Wet Blending Operator works under the guidance of the Wet Blending Lead Operator on the process of batching and blending in the wet production department. This position operates within FDA FSMA and Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) requirements defining food safety standards for the safe production of food in the plant and offices i.e. within the standards of defined risk levels by area.

All temp to hire employees are offered competitive compensation $18 per hour as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include 1st shift 6:30am-2:30pm Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Responsibilities of the Wet Blending Operator: 1. Obtain picking sheets daily from Lead Operator 2. Process ingredients in proper order 3. Verify that metal detector and all processing equipment are operating in a safe manner 4. Pack totes/pails/boxes to proper weight, label and seal properly 5. Complete required documentation 6. Scan finished product into inventory 7. Perform daily cleaning assignments
Required Qualifications of the Wet Blending Operator:• Communication, Oral - Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word. • Problem Solving - Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems. • Communication, Written - Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely. • Accountability - Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions. • Commitment – Ability to work within company’s policies of customer satisfaction and teamwork within a collaborative environment
SKILLS & ABILITIES Education: High School diploma, or equivalent. Experience: Food ingredient and bar code background preferred. Computer Skills: Candidates must be familiar with computer operation.
