SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for a Wire Rope Fabricator for our client’s warehouse in Alsip, IL The Wire Roper Fabricator is responsible for mixing chemicals to produce bulk materials for packaging production to the specifications of the batch card in a timely and safe manner. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $20/hr. as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include M-F (7a-3:30p). Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Responsibilities of the Wire Rope Fabricator:
Fabricate and repair wire rope slings and assemblies; and
Achieve qualification as an apprentice (minimum) or journeyman splicer.
Serve as a driver to make deliveries and pick ups as required to meet business needs
Perform other functions as required.
Preferred Qualifications of the Wire Rope Fabricator:
Previous experience in manufacturing role working with various tools
Comfortable standing for extended periods of time.
Able to life up to 50 pounds
