SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for an experienced Industrial Wiring Technician for a large, established client located in McKinney, TX. Industrial Wiring Tech will ensure that equipment and machinery are working at optimal efficiency to produce and manufacture products safely and on time. This position will perform electrical, mechanical, sheet metal, welding, and pipefitting duties which involve replacing, repairing, and cleaning equipment and/or component parts. This position will entail standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 50 pounds during shift. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! Job SummaryThis role is responsible for the wiring and device labeling of back panels and enclosures. Work from drawings issued by the Manufacturing Supervisor or Manager.Mark up drawing for any discrepancies/substitutions on parts. Mark up drawing for any discrepancies on wiring or labeling. Job Responsibilities
Review the wiring diagram and make wire labels, terminal markers, and device tags indicated on the drawing.
Label all terminal blocks and devices per drawing, mention any discrepancies to either QA/QC, Supervisor or Manager.
Wire back panel per drawing, mention any discrepancies to either QA/QC, Supervisor or Manager.
Wire up any enclosure devices to the backpanel once the backpanel has been dropped/installed in it’s enclosure (you may be asked to assist with this task).
Review the enclosure diagram and install any nameplates and/or device labels.
Finish the enclosure and notify your Supervisor.
If any questions come up during build, ask the supervisor or manager.
