Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer demand and plant capacity.
Balance labor, machine capacity, and materials to maximize throughput and efficiency.
Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure raw materials are available before production starts.

Production Scheduler Requirements and Qualifications

Knowledge of supply chain management, or industrial engineering.

Certified in Planning and Inventory Management preferred.

Troubleshoots injection molding machine issues and tends to alarms when issues arise.
As a member of the Management Team, must set a superior example of leadership, personal conduct, interpersonal behavior, attire (appropriate for the job) & hygiene.
Reviews production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan daily department or cell operations as required.
Plans production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
Coordinates manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications.
Verifies machine setup, start up and conformance of product to applicable specifications of 1st piece parts before production is released.
Monitors work activities and reviews production and operating reports / documentation to resolve operational, manufacturing, set-up, quality, safety and maintenance issues in a timely fashion.
Confers with maintenance personnel to identify mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance on machines.
Inspects machines and equipment to ensure operational performance and optimum utilization.
Develops or revises work procedures, standard operational and working practices or instructions, quality procedure checklists as needed and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards.
Maintains records and verifies the accuracy of all documentation generated by department or cell personnel.
Directly supervises 15 to 20 employees in the Molding Department (Shift / Cell).

Required Qualifications of the Bilingual Shift Supervisor:

Previous experience in production, manufacturing, assembling, and/or machine operating.
At least 1 year of previous plastics injection molding experience.
Flexibility to work overtime and extra shifts as needed.
Experience reading and interpreting production specifications a plus.

Personal work effort must be done with safety to prevent mold or equipment damage.
Obtain approval from supervisor for set-up and product produced.
Follow set-up procedures, if there is a problem, notify management.
Assist operator on start-up.
Performs diagnosis and solves operations or problems.
Identifies the need for mold or equipment maintenance.
Perform PM molds per specified procedures.
Stop any operation where there is an issue of safety or product quality.
If delegated by the supervisor, train or assist team members when operation problems occur.

Set-up and maintenance of auxiliary equipment, including granulators, conveyors, liquid temperature controls, and mold electrical controls.

3-5 years experience in injection molding equipment set-up.

Inspects manufactured and purchased products according to the latest documented and released inspection/control plans.
Verifies product conformity and processes during production.
Inspects or verifies inspection of products for qualities such as dimensions, performance, and mechanical, electrical, or chemical characteristics.
Audits products and processes to determine compliance with order specifications (including Customer requirements and QP standards such as Routing BOM, packaging, processing specifications).
Trains appropriately in production floor inspection, including promoting the use of inspection gauges and equipment on the floor where possible.
Inspects manufactured and purchased products according to the latest documented and released inspection/control plans.
Interprets engineering drawings and reports to Quality Management where product quality discrepancies exist.
Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of capability.
Assesses control charts and other recorded data for trends.
Identifies and reports continuous improvement opportunities to Management that could result in production efficiencies, improved product quality, or cost savings.
Identifies, segregates, and moves defective products to the appropriate quarantine areas.
Prevents defective products from being shipped in accordance with nonconforming material control documentation.
Initiates action in accordance with documented and released non-conforming material control procedures when a defective product is discovered.
Notifies the Quality Engineer and the Shift Production Supervisor upon the discovery of the discrepant product.
Makes decisions based on statistical knowledge and understanding of processes.
Authority to release acceptable products for shipment.
Promotes the use of statistical process control on processes for defect prevention vs. defect detection.
Ensures acceptable Sorting/Rework operations and proper release for shipment to the customer.
Participates as a member of assigned corrective actions or continuous improvement projects.
Participates in Gage R&R or other studies.
Calibrates appropriate measurement tools & equipment

Required Qualifications of the Quality Assurance Inspector:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus 2 years relevant experience.
Ability to read, write and comprehend basic instructions, correspondence, and memos.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages and to interpret capability, average, standard deviation and X-Bar/R and other statistical graphs.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

Reads job ticket to ensure complete understanding of job specifications
Provides direction and monitors feederâs activity and performance as well as being responsible for thefeederâs actions.

Relays complete accurate information to next shift on jobs scheduled and in progress. Identify anyspecial issues or considerations.
Enters complete, accurate, timely information into Hagen system. Carefully review Hagen sheets, makenecessary corrections, and submit at the end of shift.
Follows all specified procedures and complete all required documentation.

Required Qualifications of the Press Operator:

Knowledge of all kinds of stock, & what to look for on printed sheet

Responsibilities of the CNC Machine Operator:
• Set up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines to produce precision aerospace components

The Forklift Operator uses physical analysis and scanning equipment to confirm accuracy of pallet tags versus pallet loads and authorize them for delivery into the inventory control system, and uses powered or hand operated lift equipment, stacks, tiers or moves product, equipment or materials.

Responsibilities of the Forklift Operator:
-Compares pallet tag to pallet load and configuration to ensure accuracy.
-Scans bar code on the pallet label to enter information into the scanner and manually enters quantity information into the scanner; downloads information contained in scanners into the inventory system hourly.
-Using powered or hand operated lift equipment, stores finished goods or parts in designated locations and scans location.
-Performs physical inventory counts as required.

-Pick, build, label, and wrap customer orders to customer/vendor requirements
